Present:  G. Willcox (Chair), D. Creed, M. Heal, M. Colman, and P. Gurl.

Minutes of the last meeting were approved and signed.

Nil Declarations of Interest.

Matters arising:-

Following advertising  a casual vacancy for parish councillor  M. Heal was proposed,  seconded and approved.

M. Heal  accepted and signed Acceptance of Office.

Chair welcomed Mr Heal as new parish councillor.

 

Traffic problems, Newtown lane.

The Head of West Pennard School has written to SCC. (cc all p councillors).

Yellow-lining requested is being followed up.

Correspondence:-  circulated.

Planning:-

1.  Change of use of outbuilding to ancillary accommodation to dwellinghouse (C3)/Woodbine Farm/Sticklynch/Planning Ref 2020/1851/FUL - Proposed, seconded and passed Recommend Approval.

2.  Masonry stitching to rear wall/Southtown Farm/Southtown lane/Planning Ref 2020/1705/LBC - Proposed, seconded and passed Recommend Approval.

3.  Conversion of outbuilding into 2no Holiday Lets/Woodlands Farm/Woodlands road/Planning Ref 2020/1893/FUL - Proposed, seconded and passed Recommend Approval.

Planning decisions, MDC.

1.  New building and extension for covered cattle collection yard/Higher Sticklynch Farm/Planning Ref 2020/1205/FUL - Approved.

2.  Approval of details reserved by conditions 8 (Foul Drainage) and 9 (Surface Water Drainage) on Planning Consent to replace stables with new single storey 2-bed holiday let/Lower Coxbridge House/Coxbridge/ 2019/2187/FUL - Refused.

 

Highways Matters to be reported:-

Bad state of Bradley Way and the Whitelake to Redlake road to the top of Page lane.

A.O.B. - Concerns re large assembly of redundant engines/machinery in the open and reports people living in caravans on local farm to be reported to MDC.
