Annual Parish Meeting 18.04.19.

Present:  G. Willcox (Chairman), L. Aldridge, M. Colman, T. Hodgson, D. Creed, A. Creed, J. Gane, P. Gurl, Messrs Crang and L. Wright.

Apologies:  J. Tucker, D. Cllr. J. Greenhalgh.

Minutes of the last Annual Parish Meeting were approved and signed.

Chairman's Report 2019.

The Parish Council have debated 21 planning applications to the current date.

The War memorial is currently having ongoing repairs to one rotten wooden post.

Highways matters have been reported.

Local footpaths have been maintained.

A poppy wreath was laid at the War Memorial on Remembrance Sunday.

£1,000 was given to the Parochial Church Council for upkeep of the churchyard and £500 to the Village Hall Management Committee for upkeep of the village hall and use of the committee room.

All information relating to West Pennard Parish Council is displayed on the village noticeboard and on the parish council website westpennard.org.uk.  Precis of meetings are submitted to The Parish News.

Mr Chairman thanked fellow parish councillors for their good work as elected parish councillors and support to him as elected chairman,  'all doing for the good of the village'.

Finance:  The Accounts, Bank Statement and Audit Forms were presented for inspection.

Notice of Public Rights and Publication of Annual Governance and Accountability Return, Accounts for the year ended 31.03.19 - Monday June 17th to Friday July 26th, 2019.
