T. Holley reported sighting of a pedestrian crossing on the A361 would cost in excess of £100,000. There are also issues as to the suitability as there are limited locations where there is a safe refuge on both sides of the road. Tom asked if 'Children Crossing' signs might be an option.
One Somerset's traffic engineer for this area has spoken directly to the Improvement Schemes Delivery Team and asked them to add West Pennard to the Register.
Clerk reported a resident had emailed her direct asking for a response to her email regarding the 20mph wigwag signage in situ but was unclear what the query was about. The resident was reminded of this evening's meeting.
T. Holley reported attending in person and M. Colman on line the first LCN meeting for our area (East).
Chair and Vice Chair were elected then those present got into groups to discuss objectives.
The LCN is evolving.
Refurbishment of metal road signs - work is in progress.

Confirmation from Highways work has been carried out on reported pothole/Bradley Way.
Reading file circulated - further information re access to all customers for all Unitary services in each area to enable 'self serve' Access points in all LIBRARIES commencing July 2023.
