Planning Application viewed by all parish councillors with the following Observations:-

1.  Erection 2no 2-storey side/rear extensions/Hope House/Southtown Lane.

Observations:  The extensions will create oversized building(s) out of character with the area.

 

Planning decisions Mendip District Council:-

1.  Rear single storey extension/Bread Cottage/Newtown Lane - Approved.

2.  Application for a certificate of lawful existing development for toilet facilities building ancillary to Caravan and Camping Site/Ashcombe Farm/Steanbow - Approved.

3.  Application for a certificate of lawful existing development residential use of 'The Annexe'/The Flat/Ashcombe Farm/Steanbow - Approved.

4.  Application for a certificate of lawful existing development for residential use of 'The Barn' as independent dwellinghouse/Ashcombe Farm/Steanbow - Approved.

 

13.05.2020 -CORONAVIRUS UPDATE FROM SOMERSET COUNTY COUNCIL:-

Government Guidance effective from 13.05.2020 - 

People may spend more time outside and meet one other person provided they follow social distancing guidelines.

Those who cannot work from home should return to work.

Food retailers, hardware stores, garden centres and food takeaways can remain open.

FACE COVERINGS:- Where people can, they should wear face coverings in short periods, indoors in crowded areas - eg public transport and some shops.

Most Recycling sites reopen and garden waste collections resume.
